The tournaments went on for a better part of the last quarter of the term and were held in different venues.

1. U11 BOYS AT AGA KHAN ACADEMY – 14TH MAY, 2022
The boys won the semi- final against Oshwal Academy qualifying them for the finals against the host Aga Khan Academy. Victory was ours after they bagged the final goal 1-0. The entire team was awarded medals for the condign win.

2. U11 GIRLS AT AGA KHAN ACADEMY – 14TH MAY, 2022.
The girls did their best and managed to qualify for semi -finals but lost narrowly. They proudly carried home the 3rd position.

3. U9 MIXED FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
It was a mixed team of 3 girls and 7 boys. A very young and inexperienced team. The team showed interest and determination to the last whistle. It was a great learning ground for them and there is always hope of doing even better.

4. U13 BOYS AT LIGHT ACADEMY MOMBASA – 11TH JUNE, 2022The team did remarkably well and came second out of the 9 schools that took part. They won all their first four matches straight, losing only at the finals.
Our very own Michael Maina was selected as the best striker of the tournament after scoring a total of 5 goals while Austin Ogola was accorded the “best defender of the tournament” title.
The team was awarded with medals for their outstanding performance and we applaud them for that.

5. U16 BOYS AT OUR VERY OWN SHREE SWAMINARAYAN ACADEMY – 18TH JUNE, 2022.
Matches were played in a round robin format which the teams enjoyed. Our boys did very well and emerged 3rd overall and were awarded bronze medals.
