CURRICULUM

The Kindergarten section of the school follows the Montessori curriculum. This section offers Key Stage 1 which consists of the Playgroup, KG1, KG2 and the Reception class.

The curriculum emphasises Numeracy, Library, Reading, Languages and Literacy skills. It also offers exciting lessons in ICT, Music, Drama, PE and Swimming.

The Kindergarten curriculum uses a special child-centred approach which enhances children’s development of skills and values to help them become confident, capable and independent. The Jolly Phonics child-centred approach is used to teaching literacy.
