JUNIOR SCHOOL

CURRICULUM

The Junior School section offers Key Stage 1 at Year 1 to Year 2 and Key Stage 2 at Year 3 to Year 6. The school curriculum is structured such that it gives the pupils a solid foundation for lifelong learning by following the Edexcel Primary Curriculum which provides excellent preparation for secondary education.

At the end of Year 6 the pupils are expected to sit for their Edexcel International Primary achievement tests in Computing, English, Mathematics and Science.

The section strives for excellence in all aspects of the pupils’ development. It provides a broad and balanced curriculum designed to extend the students’ horizons while nurturing their creative and analytical thinking skills.

The subjects offered include Mathematics, English Language, Science, History, Geography, Kiswahili, French, Gujarati, PSHE (Personal Social Health Education), Art, Computing, Music, PE and Swimming.
